Daanish University is an emerging institution in Islamabad, Pakistan, operating independently under a trust and offering rigorous STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) education that will converge with civilizational values. Our graduates will possess strong fundamentals, multidisciplinary ability, and ethical grounding — drawn from diverse socio-economic backgrounds purely on merit.

We are looking for builders, not just scholars.
As founding faculty you will design an integrated, experiential STEAM curriculum from first principles; build a maker-centred ecosystem; establish research priorities, labs, and funding; help shape culture; recruit colleagues; and teach and mentor exceptional students.
Who We Seek
- Accomplished academics with a demonstrated capacity to create and innovate — experimenting rather than optimizing.
- Collaborators across disciplines. Established scholars and newly qualified PhDs equally welcome.
- International candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Those comfortable with ambiguity and committed to experiential, student-centred STEAM education.
- Experience at the intersection of academia and practice — industry, startups, or applied research preferred.
Qualifications
- A PhD or terminal degree in a STEAM or closely related field — engineering, computer science, applied or data sciences, interdisciplinary STEM, humanities, social sciences, liberal arts.
- Or demonstrated experience leading major higher-education initiatives.
- Orientation to innovation and commitment to student-centred pedagogy.
